Citizen Award Program

The Oakland Firefighters Random Acts Citizen Award Program was created to recognize citizen heroes who have saved the life of another human being or performed a heroic deed that made a positive difference in the lives of the individuals they helped. Oakland Firefighters arrive on the scene of incidents many times to find that a citizen has intervened before we arrived, decided to get involved and made a difference.
