NOVEMBER is the 11th Annual Oakland Firefighters Random Acts Month at Fentons Creamery (4226 Piedmont Avenue, Oakland). All month long, purchase the “Firefighter Sundae” and 25% will go to help Oakland Firefighters create Random Acts of Kindness in the Oakland Community. Drop off new toys or stuffed animals for our Random Acts Holiday Toy Drive and Firefighters will deliver them to kids in need in Oakland.
The “Firefighters Weekend” will be Saturday & Sunday, November 15th & 16th from 12-4:00 pm. Volunteer Oakland Firefighters and Recruits will be waiting and busing tables, pouring water and coffee, scooping ice cream and serving YOU. If it’s your special day, Firefighters will sing “Happy Birthday To You”. Don’t miss the wild and messy Sundae Building Contest at 3:00 PM both days. Kids will receive free red fire hats and get to climb aboard a real fire engine and pose for photos with the Firefighters. Meet representatives of Oakland Firefighters Random Acts and learn about the good work Firefighters do in the Oakland Community beyond their badge.
